Ingredients

3 kiwis, peeled and roughly chopped 1 cup (100g) grapes

2 handfuls fresh spinach 2 bananas, sliced

To serve

2½ cups (600ml) water

  TO FREEZE

You can freeze this in 1 large batch making 4 smoothies, or split the mixture into 4 separate freezer bags for individual portions before freezing. Either way, put the chopped kiwis, grapes, spinach, and sliced bananas in a labeled freezer bag (or bags) and freeze flat for up to 3 months.

TO SERVE FROM FROZEN

Remove the bag from the freezer and transfer the contents to a freestanding blender. Add the water to the blender (reducing the amount to a scant ⅔ cup (150ml) if you are making an individual portion) and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more water and blend again. Pour into glasses and serve.
