Salisbury Steak Recipe

Salisbury Steak is a tasty recipe has been in my family for many years. It’s easy to cook it, but tastes like it took one hour to make! I normally make a fully supplementary sauce to pour over mashed potatoes.

    Directions

    Step 1

    Mix together 1/3 cup condensed French onion soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and black pepper In a large bowl. Form into 6 oval patties.

    Step 2

    Brown so many sides of patties In a large skillet over medium-high temperature. Pour off surplus fat.

    Step 3

    Mix flour and remaining soup until smooth In a small bowl. Blend in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce and mustard powder. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover, and cook for 20 mins, thrilling from time to time.
